Patch 1.12 Beta (International)

Run the patch exe to apply the patch setup automatically (you may be prompted to choose your exact version in some occasions).

It will install all beta content to a mod folder "Beta" and shortcut "Launch Arma Beta Patch" to your ArmA directory (default is C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA or C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA).


This patch will automatically offer you to install anti cheating software for online games to your ARMA working folder. If you decide not to install Battleye, your patch still will be working but you may not be able to join game servers that will have installed Battleye software for increased anti cheating protection.

It will install all BattlEye content to a folder "BattlEye" (default is C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\BattlEye). If BattlEye was installed, it will be securing online sessions hosted on your server (requiring all clients to have BattlEye also installed) unless it is disabled in server config using line "battlEye = 0;"

NOTE: BattlEye itself will be run from ARMA's application data folder (default is C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Local Settings\Application Data\ArmA\BattlEye) to have write access in order to be able to download/install updates and/or create logs and other BE-related files.


There's an uninstall application exe UnInstallBE.exe installed in the BattlEye installation folder that allows you to remove BattlEye from ARMA.


There's an uninstall application exe Uninstall_ARMAPatch_1_11_beta.exe included in the patch archive that allows you to remove the beta folder and associated shortcut from you game directory.


You can still run your existing ArmA normally by using the existing shortcuts and as far as we know, the beta shouldn't interfere with your game, so even after you installed the beta you should be able to install this beta patch normally.

To run the beta version, you need to start "Launch Arma Beta Patch" in your ArmA game directory.

If you need to run ArmA another way, and you still want to run the beta, make sure to start the ArmA.exe from the beta subfolder with working directory set to the normal ArmA directory and also with command line option -mod=beta

CSM2 Beta

Protegimus veröffentlichte in den BI-Foren eine aktuelle Beta des CSM (Chammys Sound Mod). Dazu sagte er, dass der Soundmod mit 1.05 kompatibel ist und A.C.E.2 unterstützt. Weiterhin hofft er auf eine Zusammenarbeit aller "Soundmodder" um qualitativ hochwertige Sounds zu erstellen. Hiermit spielt er sicherlich auf die Modularität an, welche ebenfalls wie z.B. bei VopSound gegeben ist.

This little addon adds an action menu entry for you to enter DLC Karts w/o having bought the DLC :)
Same as with noBAF, this wasnt made to piss people off, but because it´s an easy fix to a slightly un-easier problem.

-None of the "non-buyer-features" other than the get-in mechanic are being changed by this addon.
-All UI Alerts/Vignettes, Mission Cooldowns/Restrictions, or other features non-buyers might encounter are left intact.

It´s a silly restriction in a game with THAT many scripting commands and addon possibilities.
I don´t want to be forced running a debug-console all the time just to be able to enter karts.

- Put the addon .pbo included with this archive into any of your modfolders and load it as usual.

-- For use on online servers with active signature file checking the .bisign file needs to be in the same location as the .pbo,
-- Also the mrb.bikey must be allowed by the server owner (Note: the key file is not required by clients).

ToraBora "Sandbox Edition"

Wer sich auf Takistan noch nicht an hügeliger Landschaft sattgesehen hat, darf nun seine Wanderstiefel etwas weiter südlich in der Region um die berühmte Bergfeste ToraBora einlatschen. Als Basis diente Chill xl seine erste Insel, Aiaktalik, die er nun allerdings stark überarbeitet und durchgehend mit OA Objekten bepflanzt hat. Fertig ist die 'Insel' allerdings noch nicht, wem der ein oder andere Fleck zu unbebaut erscheint, der muss vorerst das TownGenerator Modul bemühen.

cole\_vapfxCole schaltet mit seinem Addon die bereits als Script in ArmA2 vorhandene Funktion ein, Kondensstreifen und Verwirbelungen an Flugzeugen sehr schön darzustellen.

Warum der Effekt nicht standardmäßig in ArmA2 eingeschaltet ist und nun erst per Addon Einzug findet, erklärt der ursprüngliche Ersteller des Scripts, Maddmatt, knapp übersetzt mit den Gründen das es aufgrund konstanter Berechnungen zu großen Performanceeinbußen führen wird wenn man viele Flugzeuge gleichzeitig herumfliegen hat. Desweiteren gibt es einen potentiellen Bug mit Savegames.

*What is noBAF?*
The intention of noBAF (or BAF lite+) is not doing BI harm, but offering a way to make playing BAF content (missions mostly)
a less annoying experience, and (maybe) wetting the appetite of players for the DLC some more.

noBAF changes in particular are:
-replaced all radio com sounds for units with EP1 english
-replaced lo-fi BAF music tracks with EP1 tracks
-replaced shapur island preview picture
-replaced all but one (Pilot) 64x64px unit´s with British 3 Rifle Infantry MTP by STALKERGB
-replaced all but some (AS50, L85A2 NVG Scope) 64x64px weapons with P:UKF *OA Only* Weapons Pack 1.0)
-replaced 64x64px Landrovers with P:UKF Landrover Pack v1.1

Server operators using verifysignatures copy noBAF_beta.bikey into their servers \Keys &|or \Expansion\Keys folder.

Es erwarten euch malerische Ausblicke, knietiefe Mangrovensümpfe, sowie das ein oder andere Scharmützel zwischen Regierungstruppen und rivalisierenden Milizen.
Ausserdem gibt es Berichte über regelmäßige UFO Sichtungen, ob diese lediglich dazu dienen den Tourismus anzukurbeln ist unbekannt. Es heisst aber, daß viele die sich auf die Suche begaben, niemals wieder kamen...

ardvarkdb & scubaman3D, veröffentlichten in den BI Foen ein kleines gemeinsames Projekt. Da die beiden nebenher bei ACE tätig sind, kann man schon fast von einem Einheiten Teaser sprechen - die SCAR´s z.B. werden nämlich auch in der ACE Mod enthalten sein.

-Special Forces units from the Alpha detachment. These units come in ACU camo as well as two variants of the SPEAR jacket.
The green version of the spear jacket is seen on units with (D) in their name, and the black is seen on units with (N) in their name.
-By no means milspec, based more off of the VBS2 SF units.

There is one PBO file in the .7zip archive, which needs to be extracted into your ArmeA/Addons folder.

- Adding scars to the replacement SF units was causing some issues, so only the units are replaced. Looking into getting the scars on the replacement units.
_ No optics on SCAR EGLMs when firing grenades.

NouberNou veröffentlichte in den BI Foren eine neue Version seines Advanced Combat Radio Environment Mods.
Nach weiteren Stabilitäts Upgrades hat diese Version nun auch ein paar nette Features zu bieten. Jetzt ist es zb möglich sogenannte "Buddy Radios" zu nutzen. Das heißt das sich ein anderer Spieler in dein Funkgerät reinklicken kann und es mit nutzen kann.

Ihre Sinne sind schärfer als ihre Zähne. Sie sind groß, stark und kommen wie aus dem Nichts, um ihre Opfer lebendig in Kleinteile zu zerteilen. Diese Knorpelfische sind genau das, was der Unterwasserwelt in ArmA2 fehlt; dies dachte sich auch CSJ und veröffentlichte heute sein Haifischaddon. Anbei gibt es eine witzige Beispielmission, welche die Funktion dieser netten Fische zeigt.

ATV´s und Motorräder sind Todesfallen, Skodas lahm, und Busse neigen dazu sich rücklings zu überschlagen .. dies und mehr sind Feststellungen, die sich jedem Nutzer des Romella Raceway auf Lingor Island schnell offenbaren.

Nun schickt DaMan3 mit seinem Go-Kart einen neuen Kandidaten auf den Rundkurs. Es kommt zwar noch optisch bescheiden daher, ist dafür aber pünktlich da um es noch vor dem Fest kaputtfahren zu können.

Das auch Erstlingswerke sich durchaus sehen lassen können beweist bwph4273 im BI Forum mit diesem kleinen Fliegerchen. Die Acrostar BD-5J glänzt mit einer voll funktionstüchtigen Instrumentierung, akkustischen Warnsignalen, einklappbaren Flügeln, und nicht zuletzt durch den Niedlichkeitsfaktor.
